The digital advertising landscape is changing, and changing fast. 15 years ago Google Ads was in its infancy, SEO was a simple formula, social media barely existed, and things changed slowly. It was possible to be trained to a high level in everything that digital marketing covered within a matter of months.

Fast forward to today. Our clients, people like you, are quite rightly asking us to consult on a vast array of digital advertising channels and tactics. We’re being asked to be the experts on new channels as soon as they come on the market, to advise on the best way to navigate GDPR and the decline of online tracking, and to provide guidance on everything from how to engage with new audiences through to how to optimise a website for maximum conversions.

Our mission is to help businesses grow by providing strong consultancy on these topics. But we were starting to notice that while everyone on our team was an expert in a certain area, we were losing the ability to deliver a strong overall marketing plan that remained constantly up to date.

We spoke to some of our colleagues in the marketing industry and we found it’s something that everyone is struggling with.

That’s a secret, and like every great business secret, no one knows the full recipe. Our developers build the tech, our strategists input the data, and some magic happens in the middle to give us what we need.

It also means that it’s unaffected by updates to third party ad platforms, which render many software platforms useless as they endlessly struggle to keep up and waste valuable development resources.

When we set out on this project, it was really important for us to build something that doesn’t exist already.

Most agency tech sounds great on paper but replicates tools that already exist. The most common one that we hear about is agencies building their own reporting dashboards, but there are already hundreds of tools on the market that provide this solution, and we wanted to do more than just build a rehashed version of Google Data Studio with some fancy branding. Most importantly, reporting doesn’t really move things forward for your campaigns, it tells you what happened in the past, not what you should do in the future.

A lot of agency tech is also just a whitelabeled version of commercially available software. Again, these tools are useful but often do very little to provide clients with a genuine benefit that wouldn’t be available already.

As far as we know, there is nothing else out there that provides the same solutions that our platform provides, and we are seeing genuine benefits for our clients by using this technology. We can say with absolute confidence that it isn’t just another piece of whitelabel agency tech.
